Kim Peek

Attending Kim Peeks seminar was neat. To hear how Kim can tell you all sort of dates in history and function like he does for someone who had brain damage since birth was amazing. He read the dictionary at age three, and I have never even read it. That really does say something about Kim and his personality. One thing I started to understand from class is how you word your questions to people. Lots of students had the chance to ask Kim a question of their choice. But I don’t think Kim understood some of the students’ questions. If they had just asked their question in a slightly different way, I think Kim would have been able answer the question. One thing Kim and his dad are trying to teach people is how everybody is different. I really think that is a good thing to teach. Some people need to learn that. Going to hear Kim Peek speak was a good experience for me. I learned a lot.
